Moderator talking about informational group postings
« on: June 25, 2011, 16:47:04 »

Oh my gosh, this is sooooo awesome!  I don't know about everyone else as I can only speak for myself, but The rewritten list by you is Great!!!! and it has given me some wonderful new things to research for weekend posts and educational posts for us.

Thank you so much!  One of the hardest things for me after 2 1/2 years is coming up with new posts every day, every weekend about things that are  going to be helpful or will meet the needs of everyone in the group, as far as answering questions or expanding knowledge about RSD, or building our own survival tools to fight pain and really live life to the fullest with RSD.  Things like how to communicate better with family members when you have RSD, how to talk to them about your needs, how to survive this new kind of stress RSD puts on you, different parts of the disease and how it affects the body, how to overcome different parts of the disease, latest treatments out there etc.

When we do educational posts for our group, we always ask for topic ideas, have a suggestion box, and ask members even new members to let us know if they need us to research something, if they have any questions, need help with anything.

We do this because we really care, and we want to help.  We know how hard it is to research everything on your own, we have been there or are still going through it. When you have other people who have been through it or have previous knowledge of a topic, or can help research something it gets easier to do together and we all can learn something new together and grow from the experience to help others also.

Anyway let me stop rambling on.......... love all of you so much you are my life line so many times.

Thank you for posting this Grover, it motivated the still nationally certified HealthCare educator in me to start creating again.

Lots of love and positive healing light,
Dee
